Main Responsibilities- Develops, in conjunction with GM, Projects, critical paths for the most effective means in meeting the objectives set by senior management for new projects.
- Represents the Company and coordinates with Partners in all negotiations with vendors, suppliers, consultants and contractors on all stages of the Projects on schedule, cost and quality.
- Assesses nature and complexity of projects to determine the information and resources required, and clearly defines the responsibilities of each involved party.
- Lead the development of budget plans for each project.
- Lead the development of contract strategy for the appointment and engagement of consultants and contractors in accordance with the Corporate Procedures.
- Directs the tender process from contractors: selection, tender documentation, issue and analyses of tenders, applying value engineering principles and formulate recommendations for approval by Senior Management and/or Partners.
- Directs the value engineering exercise during design and tender process to ensure costs are within budget.
- Leads the specialist in-house team allocating work flow and managing technical support and consultation throughout the installation period until handover.
- Prepares and presents regular project status reports to provide a clear picture to the management on actual progress, cost, quality, authority approval, critical issues and recommended actions.
- Leads the quality verification of works by consultants during tender and execution phases. Work with in-house team to lead the quality verification of field execution, including but not limited to commissioning of building services systems.
- Leads the inspection, punch and defect rectification processes with in-house team and consultants.
- Works with Cost and Contract Control to lead the close out all contracts and final accounts.
- Leads the process of any improvement work by consolidating work list, estimating cost and agreeing with Owner for execution.
Required qualifications- Cand.arch, Engineer or other relevant educational background
- Solid experience as a project manager
- 5 stars or above opening or pre-opening hotel experience
- Experience of coordinating with contractor, consultant and architect
- Strong foundation in technical matters and familiarity with AUTOCAD
- Excellent communication skills in English, preferably with French or Mandarin skills
